Cornett Farm Fresh began in the corner of our barn on Cornett Farm on McWhorter Rd. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we sought a way to provide the community with fresh, local produce. So, we transformed part of our barn into a place to sell our goods and serve our neighbors!

With growing demand to be closer to town and an opportunity at a new location, we moved to Bill George Road in the summer of 2020. Initially, we sold fresh produce and meats, but soon we expanded by adding a commercial kitchen, allowing us to offer delicious baked goods and deli items to enhance our product offerings.

Fast forward to April 2024, we relocated to a larger property on Highway 192. With increased space, we welcomed over 40 Kentucky Proud vendors, expanded our selection of produce and meats, and fresh farm-to-table items. We are incredibly grateful for the friendships we've forged along this journey!

CFF | 2024 Kentucky SBDC Pacesetter Award
Brent, Rhonda, Jarrod, and Miranda live on the family farm located on McWhorter Road in London, KY. Brent and Rhonda have been farming together for over 20 years and have evolved from a traditional tobacco and cattle farm to a diverse produce and livestock operation. Jarrod and Miranda are actively involved on the farm and are a huge part of the operation. The Cornett's farm includes about 500 acres of produce, field corn, cattle, and hogs. They employ 34 workers from Mexico who are a huge part of the team and make things run like clockwork. At the store, we also employ 17 workers who have a passion for agriculture.
We strive to produce fresh, local, and high quality food, for our area, as well as surrounding areas. We work tirelessly to ensure the highest quality and freshest produce is being produced for our customers. The foods we bring to you, come straight from the field to you without any time or freshness lost! We are truly Appalachian Proud and Kentucky Proud! We hope our efforts can lead to a positive contribution to the community.

London's Cornett Farm Fresh Provides One-Stop-Shop with Local Flair
On a visit to their brand-new store space in early summer, shelves were brimming with buckets of fresh strawberries straight from their 300-acre farm (ran by her husband, Brent).
“People didn't know strawberries could taste like this, because they're not picked green, they're picked ripe,” Rhonda said as she bit into a tender berry. “The consumer can see a shelf life of a minimum at least a week more than what they’re used to. So, the customer is willing to pay a quarter more a pound for something, because they know that the longevity of the product and the quality of the product is better.”
CFF shoppers are treated to a one-stop-shop approach, with an emphasis on locally made products.
